…..has carried out formwork, concrete placing and steel reinforcement fixing works for our sites at Dunnes Stores Shopping Centre, Tullamore and Lidl Supermarket in Maynooth (as well works on on other contracts). We found all the works were carried out to a good standard as well as to the required programme…the final accounts were settled without conflict and in a timely fashion… we therefore have no hesitation in using David Fallon Construction in the future ourselves nor recommending them to others.

Fallon Construction Ltd. has carried out a number of projects for the past 12 months on our development in Nenagh.

All work carried out to the very highest of standards and have not necessitated any remedial works whatsoever. Indeed the comments received have been asking us whether the structures were pre-cast such was the finish to walls, stairs, columns and dock bays.

All operative working for this Company are highly skilled and take pride in what they are doing which is unusual for this day and age.

David Fallon himself has been very proactive in ensuring that deadlines are met and all programme issues are dealt with in time. He has also been helpful in any areas of complicated structures where he has lent his experience without any problem.

Dave Fallon has been employed by us on various contracts over the past number of years…I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending him to any potential client. The quality of his work is of a very high standard. He has vast experience of all types of shuttering work and he achieves a very high standard in his concrete work and concrete finishes. I have always found him to be very co-operative and reasonable. When required he will make every effort to achieve on-site deadlines, and he has always carried out his projects on program.

Dave Fallon Construction worked as a formwork subcontractor…involved with me on three different jobs namely Kylecenter Portlaoise, Inflight Catering Unit in Shannon and Portlaoise Retail Park…placing and tying rebar, formwork, pile caps, groundbeams, pads, finished floors, finished yards and fairfaced retaining walls. Dave had up to twenty operatives on site at the Kylecenter. Quality of work was never an issue and was maintained to the highest standard through the three jobs.

Dave was always present and available on site to maintain excellent relationships with several of Sisk’s staff from Directors, Site Agents, Surveyors, Engineers to Safety Officers….programmes were agreed and achieved, additional resources were available if required. Safety was never compromised.

We employed Dave Fallon Construction Ltd. to execute the concrete placing, the tying and placing of reinforcing steel and the formwork packages at the Portlaoise Retail Park Project, Timahoe Road, Portlaoise, Co. Laoise…during the project Dave Fallon Construction Ltd. were committed, reliable and programme attentive, they executed their work to a high standard and their progress application and final account submissions were reasonable and fair.

Dave Fallon Construction Ltd. carried out the concrete works to Bannaghan’s Warehouse Project, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary as a sub-contract to P. Elliott & Co. Ltd. The concrete works were completed to a high standard with excellent workmanship quality.

The concrete works comprised high quality in-situ fairfaced concrete formwork, steel fixing and concrete pouring. The following elements were included in the sub-contract;
  • Beams
  • Curved / Straight Walls
  • Circular Columns
  • Stairs
  • Dock Leveller Walls
  • Floor and Yard Slabs
I was the Project Engineer in charge of the design, specification and inspection of the works being a Director of Arup Consulting Engineers at the time and have no hesitation in recommending Dave Fallon Construction Ltd. for similar works.

 David Fallon Formwork Ltd. carried out the structural concrete works during the extension and refurbishment of Glenstal Abbey School, Murroe, Co. Limerick. The project involved and construction of a 7000m squared, 4 storey RC Frame incorporating fair faced finished concrete elements. The works were carried out on an extremely congested site.
David Fallon met all project requirements with regard to Program, Budget, Quality and Safety.Despite numerous challenges, the RC frame was constructed on time and to budget. The quality of the finished product was excellent and exceeded our client’s expectations. On Health and Safety we found David Fallon Formwork to be proactive and thorough in Health and Safety management.
We would have no hesitation in carrying out further projects with David Fallon and would highly recommend him as a concrete formwork subcontractor.

Fallon Formwork was appointed for the concrete package in the construction of a new primary care  centre within the new campus for the Dublin Institute of Technology at Grangegorman, Dublin 7.
The new build element of the project was approximately 3000m squared with a concrete link slab that connecting into an existing protected structure. The project had very highly finished concrete elements curved concrete frame, complex staircases, and steep sloped sections to the concrete roof slab.
Fallon Formwork completed the works to a very high standard pf finish whilst complying with all health and safety requirements.
This follows on from a previous satisfactory project of similar scale carried out by Fallon Formwork at Glenstal Abbey School, Co. Limerick.
We would have no hesitation in using this company again for future projects.

This is to state that the above named contractor has satisfactorily completed the concrete structure sub-contract to Glenstal Abbey School, Murroe, Co. Limerick in 2013.
Mr. Fallon is an experienced and highly driven professional who was on the project from start to finish. He completed the works in a timely manner to an agreed programmer while maintaining a high level of quality to the finished product. He and his team were very efficient and organised throughout using a ‘clean as you go’ system which was strictly adhered to. This reflected in Mr.Fallon’s proactive approach to safety across the board which was second to none.
